A Message From The Lake Hills Association Environmental Committee:

After significant rain, the town of Fairfield may close its public beaches for swimming due to high bacteria levels. This includes Lake Mohegan that feeds into our lake. In the event of town closures, Lake Hills currently does not close its beaches, but suggests that if you choose to swim, do so with caution and at your own risk. When on duty, Lake Hills lifeguards will notify members of town closures.
