WATER SAFETY RULES & LIFEGUARD HOURS

Water Safety Rules & Lifeguard Hours
 
  • Rough, dangerous or boisterous behavior is not allowed on the beach, docks, rafts or in the swimming area.

  • The lifeguard must approve the use of the surfboards, skim boards and other flotation devices. Use of these devices is limited to inside the ropes.

​

  • No more than 10 persons are allowed on a raft at one time.

​

  • No Swimming under rafts or docks.

​

  • Diving from rafts is limited to the sides of the raft visible to the lifeguard.

​

  • Diving from or swimming in the area of boat docks, rocks is prohibited.

​

  • No boats or canoes are allowed in the swimming area.

​

  • Swimming between beaches is prohibited.

​

  • All persons shall observe any rule that a lifeguard deems necessary to maintain safety.

       Lifeguard hours begin on Memorial Day and end on Labor day. They are weekends and holidays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. And weekdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
