Lake Hills President's Letter

Dear Fellow Lake Hills Members,

This will be my last Lake Hills President’s letter as my 2 year term comes to a close in January. I am very proud to have followed in the footsteps of so many great past presidents dating all the way back to 1952.

I don’t know what makes our association more special. It could be the beautiful 90 plus acre body of water we all live around which we are blessed to be able to use for swimming, boating, fishing, ice-skating or even just staring at for some peace of mind. Or it could be the wonderful, caring, welcoming, kind people we are lucky to call our neighbors. Both make our association a very special place.

The board members I have served with these past 2 years have been nothing short of remarkable. They are so smart and care about our lake. I hope you’ll join me at our annual meeting in January and help me thank them and recognize their efforts on all of our behalf.

These past few years the attendance at our annual meetings has been increasing steadily and it would be wonderful to keep that momentum going. It’s also a great opportunity for all our members to get caught up on the accomplishments the board has had over the past year as well as our plans for next year. And finally, one of the biggest honors I get as president is the ability to name the Russ Jennings LHA person of the year to our most deserving volunteer. It was a tough decision as there are so many amazing LHA members to choose from, but I have made my decision and I’m excited to share who has been named at the meeting. I hope to see you all on Friday evening, January 25th.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make these past 2 years such a great experience for me.

Jason Hyde Lake Hills President
